More than ever, we are being asked “is now a good time to buy or should we hold off for a while?”

 

Experts everywhere have their own opinions but, from a realistic point of view, we see an obvious answer to this question.

 

Individuals and families continue to move around.  New jobs, interstate transfers, families needing bigger homes and upgrading, older couples downsizing or moving out of town. There are always people needing to sell and those needing to buy. There is, therefore, always demand for housing and in an area like Point Cook, Sanctuary Lakes and Altona Meadows, with the advantages that these areas offer to residents, the demand is even stronger.

 

So, when an “expert” says wait until next year to purchase, our advice would be that we could well have interest rates at historically low levels by early 2011 and demand for good property will be even stronger. Why wait?  Today you have a wide choice of excellent property and interest rates heading in the right direction.
